It was with great excitement that I recently decided to try out the new archivist codex with the intent of maximizing the amount of research I could get done each day. However, I soon found myself bogged down by the tedious work of pulling pages with only one sentence per page so the computer could work the rest of the codex for me.

Every now and again, I come across codexes that are so different from the standard ones you’ll see in most guild stores, that I’m honestly perplexed as to why anyone would pay that much for them. So, I decided to write a guide to the ones that actually offer something unique.

If you’re on archivist codex and you’ve been running your account on rep with faction troops, we’ve got some bad news: you’re still on rep and running on rep, and you’re gonna be on rep and running on rep for a while. There is absolutely nothing we can do to change that, and we’d appreciate your patience as we work through issues with those of you on rep with faction troops.

wow10 - A small guide to all of you still farming rep with archivist codex, that might not have figured out the little tricks to spend as little time as possible for as much research as possible

I don’t finish every single rare and chest, but I do get about 7-800 reps every day on average and it takes me around 30 minutes.

Here are a few pointers on how I approach research farming.

  1. Pick up just research and mog missions (if that’s what you’re interested in). 1-2 times a day is typical. The advance rep missions for anima, gear, and deaths are not worth it. Other sources will provide you with lots of advance rep and anima for fatalities.

  2. Use silverdragon addons and handynotes. Once you understand out how they operate, you’ll be amazed at how much they assist with Korthia rares and chests.

  3. Start a large lap on either the west or east side, it doesn’t matter. Along the journey, complete the missions, daily chests, and rares.

  4. If a gateway is opened or a rare spawns anywhere, the Silverdragon addon will notify you. To get there before it dies, use the toy shardhide whistle (it’s a toy you’ve probably got if you’ve been in korthia for a while, most people have it but don’t realize it, if you don’t have it, do a quick wowhead search, I’m pretty sure it’s a 100% drop you get from picking up a moth, controlling a shardhide, and knocking it down from Gives you a 420 percent movement speed for 20 seconds and a 5 minute countdown.

  5. Always have goblin gliders with you; they’ll transport you between locations considerably quicker. Every day, I probably use 4-5.

  6. Get the mount equipment that allows you to ride without being dazed or dismounted.

  7. Purchase the enhancement from Death’s Advance that allows you to observe anima vessels if you haven’t previously. Pick them up while you’re performing the assault anyhow. There are three weekly vessels within the rift in the maw, and typically a few, 2-3 vessels, during every fresh assault in the maw(outside of rift).

  8. It takes approximately 5 minutes to collect everything in the rift (10-15min if you also get the rare and weekly vessels in the maw). I always begin my rift on the “island,” which has a potential treasure spawn. There’s also the rare yorik that you may kill every day in the rift. Apply to lfg groups or create your own. Usually, they form a group and you rush in, hit it once, and score the kill right away. After that, goblin glide over to where the ghostly chest is and verify the chest spawn position on the island. Pick up the two chests in the east and north as you go north towards Korthia hub. Then go get the wilderling rare from the 3d chest (I typically use the shardhide whistle between the 2nd and 3d chest). Goblins should glide from here to the chest where zelnithop (or whatever his name is) spawns and grab the final chest. All of this should take no more than 5 minutes. Just avoid the tangling gangs since they’re the only thing that can slow you down by rooted you. Bonus: if you’re an engineer, you can pick up the weekly vessels in the maw fast by utilizing the wormhole to the maw (since it won’t throw you out of the rift), which will save you around 10 minutes in the rift.

  9. Determine which rares, such as stygian destroyer, wild world cracker, wilderling, and fleshingten, you will have time to rush to before they die. You can pretty much run the length of the map and still make it to the kill in time. (It’s generally not worth it if they’re far away since they spawn often; it’s preferable to kill them when they spawn nearby.) While the two rares in the portals are typically dead within 20 seconds of the gateway being announced open, they don’t spawn very frequently and provide a lot of rep. So, if you’re nearby, grab your shardhide whistle and hurry over.

  10. Some riches can only be discovered in the presence of a gormit. Always keep your gormit handy (bought from deaths advance vendor if Im not mistaken). I typically mark him and make him the center of my attention. That way, if he discovers anything, I can see where he’s racing off to on the minimap.

Spending more than 30 minutes in Korthia will mainly consist of idle afk time waiting for rares to spawn, which will only earn you around 1-200 additional rep.

If anybody else has any helpful suggestions, please share them as well! There may be some things I haven’t yet worked out.

Good luck with your agricultural endeavors!

Are you looking for PC games to play? Here are all of the new PC games to keep an eye on in 2021.

20 Best New PS4 Games in 2021

Horror games are always fun to play! We know you’re excited about the new horror games coming to PlayStation 5, so we’ve narrowed down our choices for best horror games for the big new console.

Every year, there are a handful of horror games that rise above the rest, and are the cream of the crop for that year. Whether or not they’re scary or scary good, they usually deliver on the promise of delivering the goods. The developers of these games are usually obscure, but some are well known, like Little Nightmares’ Tarsier Studios. It’s a bit surprising that some of the mainstream games on the PS4 are not the new slashers of the year, so let’s see some horror games on the PS5!

Here at rambling of a gamer, we have a pretty heavy horror game schedule coming up. While there are a lot of great horror games coming for the upcoming PlayStation 5, we decided to share our favorites.

The scary season is almost coming, and we’re looking forward to it. Everyone has a different way of celebrating the nights getting longer and the skeletons getting spookier. Whether it’s creepy cocktails, classic Halloween movies, or a rivetingly revolting book to read, everyone has a different way of celebrating the nights getting longer and the skeletons getting spookier. Picking up a good horror game is one of the greatest ways to celebrate Halloween, and there are plenty of excellent PS5 horror titles to choose from. Here are a few of our personal favorites.

Village of Resident Evil

Resident Evil Village took the franchise up a level after Resident Evil 7: Biohazard revitalized it. It follows the same core first-person shooter concept as Biohazard, but it’s set in a considerably bigger area with plenty of exploration possibilities and extra stuff (yes, really). Village falters in the last hour or so, and it’s only frightening for the first half, but there are enough horrors in here to keep anybody up for a few nights. There is one condition, however: there isn’t enough Lady Dimitrescu.

Returnal may not seem to be among the greatest PS5 horror games at first glance. It’s a fast-paced third-person shooter/roguelite that has more in common with Metroid Prime than Silent Hill. Returnal, on the other hand, if you dig into the story and some of the truly unsettling opponent design, you’ll see that it deserves to be included among the PS5 horror greats. Even if you don’t die after a three-hour run, the thought of dying is frightening enough to make this list.

Demon’s Souls is a game about demons and their souls.

Again, we’re pushing the meaning of “horror” a bit here, but tell us you’re not disturbed by Demon’s Souls’ Latria stage – or any of the game’s stages — Hidetaka Miyazaki’s signature terrifying opponent design has been put through a contemporary HD filter in Demon’s Souls, making everything extra-slick and sure to haunt your dreams. We don’t want to give anything away about the game’s gory shocks, but there’s enough here to frighten even the most seasoned horror fan.

The Middle Ground

Okay, okay, we swear we’ll go back to the PS5 horror games soon. The Medium was originally a limited-time Xbox and PC exclusive, but Bloober Team’s tribute to classic Silent Hill is now available on PS5. It never quite reaches the high heights of Konami’s venerable series, but it’s well worth a look, if only to see how Bloober cleverly depicts two worlds at the same time. There are some interesting DualSense features in this one as well.

Little Nightmares II is the sequel to Little Nightmares.

Little Nightmares II’s narrative is more complex than that of many other horror games, but it’s a satisfying approach nevertheless. The narrative is disjointed and ambiguous, but Little Nightmares II shines because of the moment-to-moment visuals. If you haven’t played the original game, it’s also worth going back and playing it again; Little Nightmares (and its sequel) are short, intense, horrific experiences that accurately mimic terrible nightmares.

By Daylight, I’m Dead

Who says multiplayer games can’t be frightening? Dead By Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer game in which one player controls a murderer and the other four players represent survivors who must escape and outwit their pursuers. The thrills are more energetic and electric than nuanced and slow-burning; imagine 80s slasher instead of 2010s psychological horror. Nonetheless, there are a variety of murderers and survivors to choose from across a number of well-known series, and no two games are ever the same.

Although Subnautica isn’t exactly a horror game, it does feature some of the most frightening underwater encounters we’ve ever seen, so we’re adding it anyway. Subnautica is a narrative-based survival game in which you must sally out from the shelter of your escape pod to carve out a life for yourself on a hostile planet. Subnautica’s environment isn’t randomly generated, unlike many survival games, which makes exploring and finding its secrets all the more rewarding.

Another of Miyazaki’s works enters our list, and believe us when we tell that Bloodborne, while being a PS4 game, is one of the most frightening PS5 horror games available. Bloodborne’s early creatures’ body horror is really sickening(ly amazing), but it’s where the game goes from there that cements its position in the pantheon of horror greats. Again, we don’t want to give anything away, but if you can handle the high difficulty, you must play Bloodborne at least once. Don’t forget to get the DLC as well!

Isolation (Alien)

We’ve now entered the regions of the PS4 horror lineup – after all, the PS5 is still in its infancy and hasn’t had the opportunity to accumulate the sort of iconic collection that its predecessor had. Only Alien: Isolation gets the concept right: reduce everything to a single xenomorph and focus the core loop on avoiding it rather than attempting to kill hundreds of its type. Isolation is a must-see for horror fans, despite being a little sloppy and overlong.

Although Amnesia is Frictional Games’ main series, we believe SOMA is the more satisfying experience. It’s the same hide-and-seek horror game you’ve played before, but in a different environment; imagine Amnesia crossed with BioShock, with a dash of Moon or Arrival thrown in for good measure. If you like Amnesia and want something a bit more philosophical, SOMA’s original narrative, unrelenting twists and turns, and frightening creatures make it an essential experience.

Horror games have always been a staple of video game culture, and just because the PS4 didn’t have the horror game library that the Xbox One did doesn’t mean that the PS5 won’t have any horror games at all. However, with the console being so new, there are still plenty of games being released.. Read more about best horror games ps4 and let us know what you think.

When you use BlueStacks, you basically have a phone that you can manage from your computer, except you can’t make phone calls from it since it doesn’t have mobile coverage.

However, you are free to do anything else, like download and play any mobile app or game.

BlueStacks is an Android emulator, which means it simulates a mobile device running Android.
